The Mustangs closed 2014 as M.I.N.K League Champions.
Post season accolades are still coming in- previously, it was announced that the Mustangs broke a number of attendance records and finished 6th in the country in attendance per game.
Additionally, Baseball America has released a top ten list of M.I.N.K League prospects from the 2014 campaign.
The Mustangs made up almost half of the list. Number nine is Austin Aspergren, who spent his summer serving as a relief pitcher, and is now at Arkansas State. Checking in at number seven is Tanner Lubach, a catcher from the University of Nebraska.
The top two prospect spots belonged to Mustangs- Tanner Hill, now at Lee University. Hill spent time at first base as well as a relief pitcher. Finally, the number one spot belonged to Brett Ash, also a relief pitcher. Ash signed with the Seattle Mariners organization during the 2014 Mustangs season.
