St. Joseph, Mo. (June 4th, 2022)- The Mustangs fell to Nevada 3-0 in ten innings on Saturday night. Pitching dominated as the Mustangs dropped to 1-2 on the season.
Jack Wagner led the Mustangs with one hit and two walks.
Micah Diamond, Tyson Hilsabeck, and Tanner Lukowski combined for 16 strikeouts, and only allowed three runs.
The Griffons took advantage of two walks, as they hit a double and a single to score three runs in the tenth, off Jay Greco.
The Mustangs will be back in action on Sunday against the Nevada Griffons at Lyons Stadium. The Mustangs return to Phil Welch on Wednesday June 8th against the Wellington Heat.
