SAINT JOSEPH, Mo. -- The St Joe Mustangs worked the US Military War Dogs in a 5-3 victory with a rally in the eighth and ninth innings.
The Mustang's record improved to 32-6 in their overall record.
The War Dogs lead early with a three-run second inning to back up their starting pitcher, Ben Bowman.
The third through sixth innings were quiet as both teams scored no runs.
The seventh turned the game around for the Mustangs as Frank Gall and Deigo De Santiago put two runs on the Mustangs side.
The eighth proved better for the Mustangs as Jackson Glueck, Truman Bodenhausen, and Jace Johnson tallied three more runs to put the Mustangs ahead 5-3 in the bottom of the eighth.
Mason Holton closed out the game to give the Mustangs their 32nd win.
