Tyler Lupfer Rejoins Mustangs Staff as Assistant General Manager
The St. Joseph Mustangs staff will have a friendly face back in the stadium this season. Tyler Lupfer was a Mustangs intern during the 2017 season and is returning this year. The graduate of Northwest Missouri State University has been hired as the new Assistant General Manager for the team for the 2021 season.
“I’m super excited to be back in St. Joe and can’t wait to watch some Mustangs baseball under the lights of Phil Welch. I made countless wonderful memories the summer I interned here and look forward to making many more now that I’m back,” says Lupfer.
Lupfer worked for the St. Louis Cardinals after his time with the Mustangs in their fan experience and ticketing department. With him he brings knowledge and experience he has gained from both the Mustangs and the Cardinals. The entire staff looks forward to working with him again.
The opening game for the team is currently scheduled at Phil Welch Stadium, located in St. Joseph, Missouri, on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 against the Des Moines Peak Prospects.
